Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the Government Dental College and Hospital in Pudukottai, the third such facility in the State, with modern equipment worth ₹5.10 crore. It has an outpatient block, administrative buildings, residential quarters, and dining blocks. The Dental Council of India has sanctioned 50 students for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery course. Mr. Stalin also inaugurated new buildings for 27 PHCs and sub-health centres in Pudukottai and Aranthangi, built at a cost of ₹8.89 crore. Ministers and officials attended the inaugural ceremony.
